Ukrainian Fair 2021: Festival of Ukrainian Culture
To celebrate this important date of 30 years of Independence of Ukraine, the Ukrainian American House organized an all-day festival filled with fun activities for the whole family!
Together with those of the same mission, aiming to unite people, businesses, and organizations from around the world to stand for victory and support Ukraine, meanwhile celebrating its independence, values, and traditions which it was founded upon. UA House's mission is to introduce Ukraine’s diverse culture to our American and Slavic communities and help those affected by the war financially, emotionally, and spiritually.
This all-day event will feature live entertainment, special guests, an array of activities for children, contests, traditional Ukrainian food, Ukrainian gifts, souvenirs, and services provided by various local and national businesses. The evening concert featured well-known bands and solo performers.
All those present at the festival could enjoy a society of talented people, government officials, and social leaders. Special guests of the event were Bg. Timothy L. Rieger from the National Guard, Sacramento Chief Deputy James Barnes, and Evangelist George Davidyuk. Also, UA House specially invited guests from Ukraine, such as the Former Prime Minister of Ukraine, Oleksiy Honcharuk, and the National Artist of Ukraine, Anatoliy Matviychuk.
It is hard to describe in words how important and solemn this day of celebration of Independence is. After all, it’s not just the anniversary of the state, not just Independence Day of Ukraine; it’s also an occasion for fellow citizens to gather together, talk, and remember their traditions.
