Hundreds attended the "Sacramento Solidarity Rally for Ukraine" to remember those defending their homeland two years after Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine
Hundreds of Ukrainian Americans came together at the California State Capitol Saturday to honor and commemorate those who have bravely defended our homeland, two years after the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine. The "Sacramento Solidarity Rally for Ukraine", organized by Ukrainian American House in partnership with Consulate General of Ukraine in San Francisco, The Sunflower Society, SOL Church, ParaSOLka, Ethno Fm Radio drew hundreds of attendees, who came together to show their support and unity.
As we gathered to recognize 2 years of the full scale invasion of the sovereign nation of Ukraine, 730 days of unjustified terror, we should not forget that the war has been ongoing for more than 10 years.
We would like to thank our distinguished guest speakers, the General Consul of Ukraine, Dmytro Kushneruk, and the Major General of California, Matthew Beevers, as well as the community leaders, and activists who addressed the current unprovoked aggression against Ukraine and its impact on the global stage.
