The Sponsors Hub team hosted a meeting and assisted sponsors and beneficiaries.
The Meeting for Sponsors and Ukrainian Families under the program Uniting for Ukraine was hosted on our Sponsors Hub platform.
This event is significant both for potential sponsors and Americans who have already welcomed a Ukrainian family here in the US. We shared a lot of helpful information: the process of becoming a sponsor, their responsibilities, how to apply, how we can help with this process and provide a family with assistance upon arrival. Invited experts from DHA shed light on available social programs for Ukrainian refugees, and at the end of the meeting, we handled a Q&A session with specialists.
This meeting is a part of our Sponsors Hub activity, our Resource and Information Hub that was created in partnership with Welcome.US, and we implement it jointly with SOL Church.
Our priority is to educate, provide people with needed resources, refer them to local community services, and assist them during all steps of becoming a sponsor. Keep an eye on our updates, and don't miss the opportunity to attend the next meeting!
