Established in 1894, Okhmatdyt Hospital has been a pillar of medical care for some of Ukraine’s most vulnerable children, providing vital services across 80 departments, including specialized treatments for conditions like oncology and rare genetic diseases. Even amidst peacetime, Okhmatdyt conducted over 10,000 surgeries annually, utilizing its 720 hospital beds to serve more than 20,000 patients each year.

In light of this tragic event, Ukrainian American House, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is launching a fundraising initiative to support Okhmatdyt Hospital during this critical time. All donations received will directly benefit the hospital, with 100% of funds going towards rebuilding efforts, medical supplies, and support for the hospital staff who continue to bravely serve amidst the chaos.

"We stand in solidarity with our partners at Okhmatdyt Hospital during this heartbreaking time," said Caroleana Kvaterchuk Allison, Executive Director of Ukrainian American House. "Our thoughts are with the courageous healthcare professionals and staff who are working tirelessly to save lives and provide care despite the challenges they face."

To contribute to the Okhmatdyt Hospital fund and support its mission to restore hope and healing, please consider making a donation through Ukrainian American House. Your generosity will make a direct impact on the lives of children and families in Ukraine who depend on Okhmatdyt for their medical care and treatment.
