UA House Launches Initiative to Support Struggling Families in Rivne, Ukraine

15 October 2024

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Sacramento, CA - October 15, 2024 - UA House is proud to announce the launch of the "Support for Struggling Families in Rivne" initiative, a vital fundraising effort aimed at assisting families facing significant hardships following Russian full-scale invasion. This initiative focuses particularly on families with members who have disabilities, single mothers, and those who are unable to afford basic necessities such as food.

As the situation in Ukraine continues to present challenges, many families are struggling to meet their basic needs. The impact of these difficulties is profound, affecting not only their physical well-being but also their emotional and mental health. Without assistance, countless families will face hunger and insecurity, which can have lasting effects on their lives and the community as a whole.

UA House is committed to making a difference. Our goal is to raise $60,000, which will enable us to provide crucial support to these families for an entire year. This funding will be directed towards food assistance, essential supplies, and resources that will help families regain stability and dignity during these trying times.

“We believe that everyone deserves the basic right to food and support, especially those who are most vulnerable,” said Caroleana Kvaterchuk Allison, Executive Director of UA House. “With your help, we can provide critical assistance to families in need, empowering them to overcome their current challenges and build a brighter future.”

We invite the community and generous supporters to join us in this important cause. Your contributions, no matter how small, can create a ripple effect of positive change. Together, we can ensure that families in Rivne do not face their struggles alone and that they receive the help they deserve.
