UA House Announces Leadership Transition: Maryna Smishko Appointed Interim Executive Director of UA House
Rancho Cordova, CA — January 9, 2025 — UA House is pleased to announce that Maryna Smishko has been appointed as Interim Executive Director, succeeding Caroleana Kvaterchuk Allison, who has served with dedication and vision throughout her tenure.
During her tenure at UA House, Caroleana Kvaterchuk Allison achieved transformative milestones that strengthened the organization’s mission and impact. She led efforts to raise over $200,000 in aid for Ukraine, hosted more than 25 community events, and secured Congressional Recognition from Congressman Kevin Kiley for outstanding advocacy. Through innovative programs and strategic partnerships, she expanded UA House’s reach and amplified its influence, leaving a legacy of excellence and growth and bringing the organization to the next level.
Maryna Smishko, previously the Program Director of Ukrainian American House, steps into this role to guide UA House during this transitional period. Ms. Smishko is a valuable asset to the organization, offering expertise in community social relations, grants, immigrant aid, and various social aid programs. As Program Director, she played an important role in developing and implementing initiatives that address the needs of diverse communities and facilitate positive social change.
